Home Tips For Glowing Skin







  • Make a paste of one teaspoon of walnut powder, honey and lemon juice. Scrub your face with this paste and leave it for 20 minutes. Wash it with cold water
  • Apply honey on your face and neck for 20 minutes. Wash it with cold water. Your skin will glow and become soft and smooth.
  • Powder of orange peels (available in the market) mixed with rose water can be used to exfoliate your skin
  • Mashed papaya applied on the face clear masks on your skin and the skin will look bright.
  • Mix a spoon of sugar and curd in equal proportions and apply on face by massaging in circular motions,clean with lukerwarm water after 5mins,it helps 2 glow ur skin.
  • Do not use soap often on your face. Your skin has a PH factor of 4 - 5 which means it is acidic.
  • Clean or wash your face with a cleanser which is designed for your skin type.Use a soft flannel to remove the cleanser, make-up and other unmentionables from your face
  • Pat your face dry with a soft towel. Don't rub madly - your facial skin is not only sensitive, it tells the world whether you are healthy or not!
  • Cleanser removes make-up and dirt but you then need to use a toner to close the pores.
  • After toner, let the skin dry and then apply a moisturiser which suits your skin type.





  • Skin does not know the difference between day and night so you do not necessarily have to buy a day cream and a night cream. One product that suits your skin type will do quite well for both.
  • If your skin feels sticky after you have applied your moisturiser, then you are using too much.
  • Take all your make-up off before you go to bed - no matter how late.



Dry Skin Home Tips



  • If your skin is dry or extra-sensitive, you should mix some granular sugar, a teaspoon of nutmeg and half a cup of almond or olive oil to the oatmeal paste and then massage your face with this mixture. This prevents your skin from becoming too dry after the exfoliation.
  • A fine paste of wheat germ and rose water is also an excellent exfoliating agent for those who have skin easily prone to allergies and eruptions.
  • Mix 1 tablespoon of honey with 15 drops of orange juice and 1 tablespoon of fuller’s earth and add 1 tablespoon of rose water. Mix well and apply on the face, wash off after 10 miuntes.
  • Take 1 tablespoon olive oil and mix with 2 tablespoon of fresh cream, apply it on the face for 10 minutes and then wash your face with warm water.
  • Take  either by hand or in a grinder. Mix 2 - 3 teaspoons raw oats powdered (not the pre-cooked type) with pure honey and 1/4 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar until it forms a smooth mixture. Add more honey as needed. Then add 1 drop of basil oil to the mixture and apply in circular movements. Avoid the eye area. Leave the mixture on for about 15 minutes and wash off with lots of tepid water.
  • Drink at least 2 quarts of quality water every day to keep the skin well hydrated.
  • Avoid fried foods, animal fats, and heat-processed vegetable oils. Use cold- pressed oils only. Heating oils leads to the production of free radicals, which have a destructive effect on the skin.
  • Eat a balanced diet that includes vegetables, fruits, grains, seeds, and nuts. Eat quality protein from vegetable sources. Increase your intake of raw foods.
  • Eat foods such as garlic, onions, eggs, and asparagus that are high in sulfur, which helps to keep the skin smooth and youthful.
  • Consume plenty of yellow and orange vegetables. These are high in beta-carotene, an antioxidant. Carrots are especially good.



Oily Skin Care Tips
  • Face mask- Separate the yolk from an egg and take the white part. With it, mix 2 tablespoon clay/kaolin, 1 tablespoon oats, 1 tablespoon cornflower and enough rose water to make a smooth paste. Add some essential oils like lavender oil and/or juniper berry oil. Mix well. Apply all over the face and avoid eye area. Let dry. Rinse after 20 minutes. Enjoy your fresh, new, soft, oil-free skin.
  • Rub papaya pulp on your face gently and your skin will be polished freeing it of all impurities that cause pimples, spots and black heads. Do this every two to three days and you’ll have been successful in reducing the formation of pimples/acne, thereby achieving a thoroughly clean, glowing skin.
  • Mix 2-3 drops of sandalwood or lavender oil with 2 tablespoon of milk and massage gently all over the face cleaning up the dirt, grime and makeup. Pay special attention to the eye area. Do not stretch or over-pull the delicate skin around the eyes while removing eye make-up. Gentle massage improves blood circulation and gives your face a healthy glow.
  • Avoid Too Much Sugar. Junk foods and soft drinks should be avoided as much as possible. Replace those with fruit snacks and green tea.
