Eyes are one of  the most wonderful gift  given to us, so one has to take care of the eyes, so important that they are commonly assimilated to express how precious any thing and / or person is to us.Here are some tips to take care of your eyes.



Tips For Healthy Eyes Naturally

  • Sleep is very vital for shining eyes. Eight hours of sleep is a must. Without sleep they become blood shot and tired looking.
  • Improve your general eye health. Include more fish and green vegetables in your diet, and cut down on white flour and sugar.
  • Never rub your eyes, whatever the reason, just blink them. Blinking is a good exercise and gives massage to eyes. Rubbing can scratch your eyes and can irritate the lens or eyeball.
  • For treating eye circles, massaging almond cream and wiping off with cotton after 5 minutes is helpful. Curing dark circles requires applying milk around your eyes.
  • You can put few drops of chilled and pure rose water in eyes regularly with the help of a dropper. Lifting the eyelids gives an exercise to eyes.  
  • Exposure to direct sunrays can damage your eye. To avoid direct exposure to sunrays, put sunglasses whenever you go out in bright sunlight. 
  • Refresh your eyes by splashing cold water on it 


For Weak Eyesight

  • Carrot is an age old home remedy prescribed by many generations as a remedy to improve eyesight.
  • Fruits and vegetables are also important sources of vitamin A, C and E and beta carotene, all essential to maintaining and improving eyesight.
  • Grind 1/2 cup each of almonds, aniseeds and raw sugar, mix and divide into 40 portions to consume 1 per day with a cup of warm milk.
  • Meditate daily to the flame of a candle.
  • Rinse your eyes with water daily.
  • Rest your eyes when working for long periods.
  • Consume daily a mix of 1 tablespoon of honey and some cardamom seeds.







How To Remove Dark Circles

  • Drink lot of water daily. Avoid drinking too much tea, coffee and caffeine beverages to keep your skin hydrated. Drink green tea if you can and opt for fresh juices along with drinking plenty of water instead. Preventing dehydration is the most simple and cheap way to stay healthy.
  • You need at least eight hour of sleep
  • Powdered fenugreek and milk are said to tackle dark circles. Apply a paste of fenugreek mixed in milk on dark circles in the night. Wash off in the morning and watch dark circles vanish for good.
  • The best overall eye tonic is eyebright (an herb). Make a tea of it and either use the teabags or soak cotton balls or soft gauze in the tea and apply to eyes as a compress while lying down.
  • Massage with almond oil under and around eyes at bedtime daily for 2 weeks. Almond helps to remove dark circles to a great extent. You can also use paste of turmeric powder with pineapple juice for dark circles under the eyes.

How To Cure Eye Infection Naurally


  • Soak aloe vera juice in a cloth to be placed over your eyes to soothe them.
  • If your eyes got swollen, put a tea bag soaked in warm water. Place the tea bag on the swllen area and leave it there for some time. This can make it to about half its size, due to the tanic acid in the tea. Put a tea bag on the stye even after it has dried.
  • To disinfect the eyes, make an eye drop using turmeric powder and water.
  • You can put honey directly in your eyes or make honey eyewash by using three tablespoons of honey in two cups of boiling water.
  • You can make a natural eye wash for the eyes. Boil a teaspoon of coriander seeds in 1 cup of waterand use it to wash you eyes. It is very effective to treat styes and can also gently cleanse your eyes.
  • To reduce inflammation and itchiness you can keep cold bread over your eyes.
  • Avoid swimming in chlorinated water
